Kristen V. Walker, MD
Dr. Kristen Walker has practiced in Palm City, Florida for over 21 years after moving here from Auburn, New York in 1996. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Syracuse where she completed her medical education and residency training. After graduation Dr. Walker briefly practiced in Auburn before relocating to Palm City with her husband Andrew Walker. Dr. Walker resides in Palm City with her husband and their two daughters Tarra and Karen. Her family has a love of horses and riding and the children compete in barrel racing and other speed event as well as Hunter jumping and English Equestrian.
Dr. Walker was in group practice with Martin Memorial Physicians Corporation for 12 years. In February of 2008 she chose to branch out and start her own private practice.
Dr. Walker is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has served on many hospital committees as a staff physician at Martin Memorial Health Systems including Department Chairman for two years. She is very active in her community. Dr. Walker is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Amanda Peck, MD
Dr. Amanda Peck has lived and practiced in the Stuart / Palm City area for the past 13 years. She moved to the area from Philadelphia where she completed her pediatric residency training. She is a graduate of the University of Florida for her undergraduate education and went on to the University of Miami School of Medicine for her medical education. Dr. Peck and her husband Jason live in Palm City with their two children Ethan and Emma. Emma and Ethan are both very active in various sports including basketball and volleyball.
Dr. Peck was in group practice with Martin Memorial Medical Group for 4 years and worked with Pediatric Associates in St. Lucie West for one year before joining Dr. Walker in her private practice.
Dr. Peck is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is an active staff physician at Martin Memorial Health Systems and is very active in her community.
Merit Wallace, ARNP
Merit Wallace is a native of Stuart, FL. After graduating from Martin County High School, she obtained baccalaureate degrees in nutrition and nursing from the University of Florida. While there she participated in research focusing on the nutrition of children with HIV, and management of epilepsy in children using a ketogenic diet. This began her commitment to pediatric health. She started her nursing career as an active duty RN in the US Army, caring for soldiers and their dependents. She worked on an inpatient pediatric unit and had the privilege of providing pediatric nursing services on medical flights between Germany and the United States. Her 5 years of military service took her to Germany, Texas and North Carolina. Prior to arrival at All About Kids, she worked in pediatric health in various capacities for 9 years. She completed her nurse practitioner studies at Duke University in 2017.
Merit is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
